Wynwood’s Wood Tavern Officially Shuts Down

wood tavern

A stape in the Wynwood area for years is unfortunately closing it’s doors for good.

Wood Tavern, which is located at 311 NW 23rd St., announced on social media that they will be officially closing their doors permanently as local businesses in the area are seemingly being priced out of remaining in business.

“Unfortunately, the demand outweighs the inventory tremendously, so, for every single place that closes, a lot of people don’t really feel it, because it turns over so fast,” Felix Bendersky, with F + B Hospitality Brokerages said of the economy, according to Local 10. “Restaurants and small business owners are nervous because if we have a summer like we did in 2023 a lot aren’t going to survive.”

Cheers to one of the long-standing staples for many years of entertaining and social community in Wynwood.
