Rezz Hypes Up This Month’s Miami Set, III Points Debut

III Points Festival

Music artist Rezz is gearing up for her III Points debut on Friday, October 18th and aims to cement her legacy with an unforgettable set during Miami’s III Points Festival which runs from October 18th through October 19th.

“It’s going to be a new set for me,” Rezz said of her upcoming debut at III Points, according to Miami New Times. “I have a strong desire to evolve my project in a more mature direction. The only way I can describe what I mean is through artists like Justice or Gesaffelstein. I feel like their projects are the epitome of mature, evolved, and serious, which is the direction I want to go.”

The III Points lineup doesn’t typically feature bass music, which is why Rezz’s set will aim to contract with the overall lineup of the festival. Additionally, Rezz’s latest EP, Novus, will be infused in the set as well.

“I was excited about the booking because that is exactly the direction I want to be going, playing these festivals that are not exclusive to EDM,” Rezz says. “I think it’s fair to say that any electronic dance music artist’s goal is to have their music or project surpass just electronic music. For me, I really value getting booked in places that have such a variety of music.”

It marks a game-changing time for Rezz, who is set to drop the new EP via her label HypnoVizion Records on October 25th.

“I sort of imagined a very sinister, industrial, futuristic vibe where I could reconnect with the part of myself that created instrumental bass music — and that would mean the absence of catchy vocals or vocals in general,” Rezz added.
