Nightmare Weekend Debuts at the Miami Airport Convention Center This Month

Nightmare Weekend

In attempt to fill the obvious horror convention void in South Florida, SoFlo will be welcoming in the popular horror convention  Nightmare Weekend, which is set to make it’s highly anticipated debut at the Miami Airport Convention Center later this month.

The Nightmare Weekend, which will run from October 18th through October 20th, will be the first major horror-focused fan convention since the departure of the popular Spooky Empire, which moved to Orlando back in 2005.

Part of the guest lineup includes Terrifier’s David Howard Thornton, ‘Halloween Resurrection’s’ Brad Loree as well as errifier director Damien Leone and co-star Lauren LaVera, Constantine TV series star Matt Ryan, and character actors Ted Raimi and Clint Howard.

Pro wrestling fans will have their fill too as pro-wrestling matches will take place via Fantasy Super Cosplay Wrestling (FSCW), which will see their wrestlers dressed in horror costumes as they take the ring for battle.

On top of that, AEW’s Darby Allin and WWE Hall of Famer D-Von Dudley will be in attendance.

Nightmare Weekend initially launched in 2023, running shows in Richmond, Virginia, and Des Moines, Iowa and now will run events in Miami, Chicago, Cleveland, and Savannah, Georgia in the next year plus.

The event will include feature celebrity meet and greets, Q&As, film screenings, themed photo stations featuring animatronics, end-of-the-night parties, and more.
