Daddy Yankees, the popular reggaeton star, is now in the business of padel, which is a cross between the sports of tennis and squash as he is now the owner of the new the Orlando Flowrida Goats team, according to an official social media announcement.
“This club represents a blend of my love for padel and providing a top-notch experience for all who visit,” the 48-year old Yankee Daddy said in an official press release.
The club, which is currently homes in Fort Lauderdale had it’s grand opening, which Yankee Daddy attended, of the 10 By 20 at the Powerline Road facility on Wednesday and saw the likes of Alexander Delgado (Gente de Zona), Elvis Crespo and Prince Royce came out to show their support for the new venture.
“It’s relaxing,” Daddy said of his interest in the sport, according to CNBC. “I have fun playing with friends and family and I really love the sport. Everyone can [do it].”
Currently there are clubs in Wynwood, Doral, Brickell, Wellington, and in Puerto Rico.
